KATOWICE · KOSZUTKA / WEŁNOWIEC · AUTUMN 2026
Culture. Making. People.
Katowice, a little differently.
A space for work, culture and meeting. We work with movement, materials, images and sound. The place is still taking shape — come and see the process, or join what is happening now.
AUTUMN 2026
Movement, workshops and gatherings. Choose a date and write to ask about joining.
LUMINARIUM LAB
11:00–19:00. Bring an object, an idea or simply come and see what is being made: sewing, repairs, remaking, costume, scenography and small projects.
Tuesdays, 11:00–19:00. If your date is not listed in Planerto, contact us before visiting with your preferred Tuesday and approximate arrival time. We will confirm availability at the Open Workshop.
DANCE THEATRE · IGA KWINTKIEWICZ · MONDAYS · REGULAR CLASSES
We work with contemporary dance, improvisation, movement theatre and acting. The sessions ask how to embody a state or emotion, tell a story with the body and develop an idea of your own. If the group wants to, we will make a small showing together.

No classes for either group on 16 November 2026. Choose a date listed in the programme. If Planerto offers 16 November, contact us before booking.
INTERGENERATIONAL WORKSHOP
A session for children, teenagers, adults and older people. Through movement, theatre and shared work we look for a way to connect with others and with ourselves.

Contemporary dance, improvisation, movement theatre and acting. We work on how to express yourself through movement and develop your own bodily language.
The programme lists 17:00–19:30. If Planerto shows a 19:00 finish, confirm the times with us before booking.
LUMINARIUM LAB
A workshop for repair, design, reuse and small-scale production. We work with textiles, colour, graphics, scenography and objects. For technical facilities, we are developing a collaboration with MakerSpace.
SERVICES
An object repaired, a website of your own, a workshop for your team. Tell us what you need.
Objects to repair, transform or imagine again. From a single textile piece to a small run, a costume or a piece of scenography.
I design and build small websites for businesses, makers, places and independent projects. Content and purpose come first, followed by the visual design — clear, distinctive websites with a way to edit your own content.
A workshop, meeting, session, small event or team day. We prepare the space, programme and facilitation around your group.

See the programmeTHE PLACE
A Dome with a fireplace, a main room with a stage, a workshop and production space. There is a terrace, too. One day we dance, the next we sew; then we move things around and welcome an audience.
The back room is taking shape
We are preparing another part of Luminarium for work and gatherings. Watch the back room change.

COLLABORATION / SUPPORT
Luminarium is growing in stages. Join the programme, commission a service or propose an event or collaboration. To support the next stages of the space, write to ask about current ways to help.
THE PERSON BEHIND IT
Kasia Dąbrowska-Dańczak brings together the space, workshop, visual and digital projects, and Luminarium’s programme. What matters most is what starts to happen when other people walk in with an idea, movement, material or question of their own.
From Luminarium: events, objects and things being made right now.
