We repair
Clothes, fabrics and small objects that still have material, history or a reason to stay.
LUMINARIUM LAB · UPCYCLING WORKSHOP
Luminarium Lab is a place for sewing, repair, remaking, costume, scenography and small-scale production. The point is not to decorate an object for the sake of it. We look at what the material can do and find a useful form for it.
Write about your idea
THE CIRCULAR GATE · THE EXIT WILL BE DIFFERENT
Four decisions. Each gives the object another function. This entrance is a production cycle; leaving LAB will require a different maze.
THAT DOES NOT OPEN THE CYCLE YET. TRY ANOTHER MOVE.
OBJECT · IDEA · NEXT LIFE
01
Bring a garment, fabric, a piece of equipment, a family story or your own idea. You can also simply come and see how we work. The Open Workshop runs on Tuesdays. The upcycling workshop officially starts in September 2026.
WHAT WE DO
Luminarium Lab is a place for sewing, repair, remaking, costume, scenography and small-scale production. The point is not to decorate an object for the sake of it. We look at what the material can do and find a useful form for it.
Clothes, fabrics and small objects that still have material, history or a reason to stay.
Upcycling, personalisation, embroidery, patches, sleeves, applications and new proportions.
Costumes, props, small scenography, lamps and objects for theatre work.
The workshop is a place to exchange practical skills across ages and experience.
THE MATERIAL’S JOURNEY
An object can go through the whole journey or stop at one stage. This order keeps the work calm and avoids making new things without a reason.
We look at the object, material and condition.
We decide what is genuinely worth working on.
We clean, strengthen and restore use.
We find form, proportion and function.
We sew, build, embroider, print or assemble.
The result enters theatre, an interior, a shoot or daily life.
We show how it was made and what can be learned.
The material can enter the next project.
WHAT WE WORK WITH
Velvet, cotton, linen, silk, wool and natural leather from the second circuit can become clothing, costume, a lamp, a prop, scenography or a detail. We also use haberdashery, fabric fragments, deadstock and pieces that need repair before they can move on.
THE WORKING SPACE
Around 208 m² allows a work table, a stage, the Dome and a small production area to coexist. Technical collaborations and larger tools are arranged separately; the public site describes what can actually happen here.
Meeting, conversation, rest and small formats.
Rehearsal, movement, costume in use, showing and events.
Sewing, objects, storage and production preparation.

OPEN WORKSHOP · TUESDAYS 11:00–19:00
If you want to bring a material or a particular object, write first. We will decide together whether it needs repair, a remake, a consultation or a separate workshop.
SPATIAL INTELLIGENCE · MINI MAZE
Move sideways only. Find a route through repair, a missing part / 3D, a joint workshop and image. A field without an exit is a dead idea — you can retrace your steps.
